The founders of Evolutionary Music perform at Unity Temple on the Plaza, 707 W. 47th St., on Friday, November 30, at 7 p.m. Paradiso and Rasamayi play didjeridoos and singing bowls to create a healing orchestra. They are internationally recognized as Ambassadors of the Sacred Sound Current. The concert celebrates the release of their fourth album together, “Agape Evolution: The Movement.”
The Kansas City-based musicians say the planet and humanity are re-birthing, and their new album will help facilitate that process.
“People are having an experience of crisis in their emotional and physical bodies,” Rasamayi says. “The frequencies that come through us assist in bringing about healing as they accelerate and smooth the rebirth process on the individual and collective levels.”
They speak from profound experience about the transformative power of their instruments. Paradiso discovered the didgeridoo in 1997, and learned to play and facilitate healing with it in a three-month series of dreams. Before that time, he was suffering from suicidal thoughts.
“This sacred instrument transformed me,” Paradiso says. “I found inner peace and my purpose of contributing to the healing of the planet.”
Rasamayi has also experienced tremendous healing from two conditions which medical experts repeatedly told her were incurable. Before she began playing the bowls, she suffered from major depressive disorder and debilitating endometriosis, which kept her confined to bed for a total of five years.
Now, Paradiso and Rasamayi embrace and share a rare experience of deepest wellness and joy. Their own healing and wellness, along with reports of peak experiences and relief from a staggering array of acute and chronic conditions from listeners around the world, continually inspires them to share the music with as many people as they are able.
The duo’s three albums have topped the World Music genre’s international radio charts and collectively won four Best Album of the Year awards—Best Frequency and Transformation, Best Meditation and Relaxation, and two Best New Age Album of the Year awards.
